Our School Bell is rung every year on Columbus Day in honor of our namesake.

Columbus Elementary is one of few schools in the district to have a Birth to Five Coordinator located in the school.  Columbus Elementary is dedicated to Birth to Five outreach.

Columbus Elementary hosts a before and after school boys and girls club program.

Columbus is honored with both state and national academic achievement awards
