  Resident Eligibility Requirements
 


An Appleton Area School District resident is defined as any student residing within the current enrollment boundaries defined by the board of education. Specific information regarding current boundaries can be found on the district website. Resident students, as defined below, will have the opportunity to enroll into one course. Upon successful completion of the first course, students may enroll in up to two courses simultaneously.

  • High School Students
    Appleton Area School District students’ grades 9-12 may request enrollment in Appleton eSchool courses.
  • Charter School Students
    Appleton Area School District charter school students may request enrollment in Appleton eSchool courses.
  • Private School Students*
    Appleton Area School District residents who attend private schools may enroll in up to two online courses per semester.
  • Home Schooled Students*
    Appleton Area School District residents who are home schooled may enroll in up to two online courses per semester.
  • Middle School Students
    Appleton Area School District middle school students identified as Talented and Gifted by the Appleton Area School District and may request enrollment through their middle school. Middle School students may also request enrollment in eSchool courses with Principal permission. After completing 8th grade, students interested in pursuing online high school classes with eSchool are encouraged to take an online course during the summer session immediately following completion of 8th grade.

AASD families interested in attending the Appleton eSchool full-time or a blended schedule with more than 2 classes online, please note it is a two step process for the paperwork:

1. Complete transfer request form from Attendance office.(Please visit the link to confirm the due date in January for this form).
2. Please fill out this eSchool application, sign, return to the eSchool office.
