For the 9th year, Appleton eSchool and the Fox Valley Summer Consortium (FVSC) are providing online course opportunities for students enrolled in any of the Fox Valley
Summer Consortium Schools. Who can participate in the Fox Valley Summer Consortium (FVSC)?
This year's summer session is scheduled for June 11th – July 23, 2012. Other important dates to consider when requesting courses for eSchool summer
session:
- February 15 - Online Registration for eSchool Summer Session Begins
- April 18 – First day for students to begin required FVSC Orientation Course
- June 6 – Last day to request a summer session course (Don't wait, courses will fill up)
- June 8 (10AM) – Last day to complete the FVSC Orientation Course
- June 11 – First day of class for all courses (Attendance is Required for new eSchool Students)
- June 25 – Drop date without penalty
- July 23 – Summer session ends and last opportunity to take final exams
Requirements for eSchool & FVSC Students*:
- Completion of Orientation Course:
- After successfully requesting an eSchool summer course, the student will be enrolled into the orientation course. This course must be successfully completed before the student will be placed, '1st-come 1st-serve', into their requested course.
- First Day of Class Session^:
- New FVSC eSchool students and a parent must attend one of the First Day of Class sessions for their course on either the morning or evening of June 11. (Specific times will be posted at a later date.) Attendance is required for new FVSC eSchool students and families.
- Returning successful eSchool students will be able to begin their courses remotely
- Students must complete all course requirements including completing their final exam in a proctored setting by July 23. Students may take their proctored final exam early if the student is cleared by their teacher.

**NOTE: Courses with insufficient enrollments may be canceled.
