Unlike eSchool courses with rolling enrollments, VHS courses have only one start and end date. Students complete their courses in a cohort model around a structured pace plan to encourage student collaboration. VHS courses always begin and end on specific start dates according to the VHS semesters.

VHS start dates 2012-2013:

• September 5: Fall VHS start date
• January 30: Spring VHS start date

Following successful registration, VHS courses require a separate online orientation .

VHS online orientation:

• August 1: Online orientation course opens and must be completed to begin VHS course.

Additional VHS calendar dates:

• March 21, 2012- eSchool begins accepting forms for 2012-2013 school year
• April 11, 2012 - eSchool begins enrolling students into their requested VHS course(s) on a first come first serve basis
  • High demand courses (like AP) will likely hit seat capacity in April of the previous school year
  • Early registration is extremely important and highly recommended if you desire AP courses. Courses do fill up.
• September 28, 2012- Last date to drop a VHS course without academic penalty
• December 18, 2012 - Fall semester end date
• January 9, 2013 - Full year courses resume
• February 22, 2013 - Last date to drop a spring VHS course without academic penalty
• May 14, 2013 - End date for all VHS courses
