Our group is open to all Ferber parents and caregivers, along with school staff members.  We share a common interest, our children and students, and our goal is to strengthen their education and development through our joint efforts.  No fees are being charged.  Instead, we simply ask for your support. 

For the PTO to be effective and truly representative of the school, it is essential to have involvement from as many parents as possible.  Many working parents may feel that they cannot be included in the PTO because they cannot come to every meeting or be at school during the day.  There are countless other ways you can help.  Whatever your own level of flexibility, the Ferber PTO always appreciates their parent volunteers, as do our teachers and staff.  Keep in mind that by volunteering, you will get to enjoy interacting with the kids, become friends with other parents, and accomplish things that truly make a difference.  Do a little, do a lot - just do something!

 1.  Come to the PTO meetings with your enthusiasm and ideas.  Monthly meetings are held on Thursdays in the Large Group Instruction (LGI) area off of the library.  Please refer to the school calendar for specific dates and times.

 2.  Volunteer.  Please pick up a list of our programs in the school lobby and turn in your volunteer form if you haven’t already done so.  Volunteering opportunities are abundant.  There’s sure to be an area just right for you. 

 3.  Participate in fundraising activities.  Save your General Mills Box Tops as well as Campbell’s Soup labels.  Try a new food item each month from Market Day.  Sign up for a Target REDcard and designate Ferber to receive donations from your purchases.  Buy an Entertainment Book and reap savings all year long.    

 4.  Attend PTO sponsored events with your family and have fun while enjoying our school community.

Our PTO can only be as strong as our partnership with you, Ferber parents and staff members, and we look forward to working together to make this an amazing year for each and every student.
