There are many ways you can make a difference for Fox River Academy and its students, faculty, and parents.  Please take a minute to browse the following opportunities to volunteer, participate in a fundraiser or donate a needed item.

FUNDRAISERS

ACOCA COFFEE  Fox River Academy Coffee Sales as a service to our school community.  Acoca Coffee (formerly Beaners) on College Avenue is roasting coffee for us.  With this partnership we can offer 40 varieties of coffee that include both regular and decaffeinated selections in cool, new sizes.  You can now buy all varieties of coffee in 16oz. (1 full lb.) whole or ground bean bags, and in 4oz. (quarter lb.) whole or ground bean bags. 

Attached please find the all new 2011 private label coffee order form.  Your order will be roasted fresh by Acoca Coffee and delivered to school.   Please send your order form with payment (cash or check made out to Fox Trackers) to the Jefferson office in an envelope marked Coffee order. The Jan. order is due on the  10^th . Your orders will be sent home with your child in about a week.

TARGET  CREDIT CARD  Click to see how you can designate Fox River Academy as your school to receive donations from Target.

OFFICE DEPOT FUNDRAISER  Click to see how you can ask Office Depot to contribute a percentage of your purchases to Fox River Academy.  Bring your expired toner and ink jet cartridges to Fox River Academy as the school received a cash reward for the recycling of these items.

BUILDING FUND    Contribute to the Fox River Academy Green Building fund     

 We are in the process of adding classrooms to our Green Teaching Building. Contributions go directly for this process.  You can buy small brick pavers ($100) or large brick pavers ($250).  Consider leaving your mark on the environment with a donation.  For further information contact Lene D'Hondt at ldhondt@new.rr.com.  Click here to purchase a brick paver for Fox River Academy engraved with your name.

SCRIP/GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER  You purchase gift cards or certificates for area businesses including Woodmans, Copps, Kwik Trip, Marcus Theatres, Fleet Farm, Festival and more, and we receive a percentage of the profit.  Please contact Theresa Weglarz at 882-1291 or teresa.weglarz@uwc.edu.  Click to purchase gift cards in set amounts from local, commonly frequented businesses.  Learn how to use script to save on field trip by clicking here.

FRA APPAREL SALES  These sales are conducted at various times throughout the year and include screen printed or embroidered Fox River Academy clothing, hats, lunch boxes, shopping bags, etc...  Profits are used to help defray field trip transportation costs.   Please contact Theresa Weglarz at 882-1291 or teresa.weglarz@uwc.edu.

VOLUNTEER NEEDS

Available Opportunities to Help at your child's school: 

Classroom Help       

From time to time teachers need another adult to help with projects or assist in group tasks.  This is on an as-needed basis.                               

 Library assistance

Help as you can with various duties while your child is in the library.  We can also use assistance during the Scholastic Book Fair during conferences in October and March.

 Staff Appreciation

 Will include providing parts of meals during conferences or other items.

 Fox Trackers 

Come help with short term or various fund raising projects- items done in past or currently in progress; Coffee Sales, Candy Sales, Apparel Sales, Scrip (purchase gift certificates to local businesses and we retain % profit, Paver program, CFL light bulbs, Low-flow shower heads, etc...

 We will need help for:

Eighth Grade Ceremony (This is usually handled by the 7^th grade parents but all volunteers are welcome)
