We are the second largest elementary school of 16 traditional elementary schools in the Appleton Area School District with a current enrollment of 640 students.

At Houdini Elementary we believe learning is a non-negotiable. We are passionate that every child possesses the ability to learn. Sam's Club awarded 10 Houdini School staff members $100.00 each to purchase things for their classroom.  Friday, September 25th the following winners were selected from a hat:  Mrs. Malaney, reading specialist; Mrs. Thor, first grade teacher; Mr. Kastner, physical education teacher; Mr. Magnin, physical education teacher, Mrs. Murray, 5th grade teacher; Mrs. Karrels, 4th grade teacher; Mrs. Rathsack, physical therapist; Mrs. Krause, 3rd grade teacher;  Mrs. Collentine, kindergarten teacher, and Mrs. Grahl; teacher of special education students.
