Mission Statement:
At Houdini Elementary in partnership with families and the
community we learn, we care, and we inspire!
A note from the principal:
Welcome to the Houdini Elementary
school website. I invite you to be a part of the magical learning
experience at Houdini by exploring the embedded web pages.
We are the second largest elementary school in the Appleton Area School
District with a current enrollment of 640 students.
At Houdini Elementary we believe learning brings enjoyment and
fulfillment. The staff here believes that every child possesses the
ability to learn. In addition to ensuring our learners are academically
proficient we are dedicated to their physical, emotional, and social
needs with an emphasis on individualized instruction.
In an increasingly diverse and global society, we also focus on
preparing our students to be creative, curious, and imaginative.
At Houdini we are also committed
to ensuring all students are strong, critical thinkers, confident, cared
for, and valued.
Furthermore, we are constantly engaged in the dynamic process of
improvement in which we seek ways to improve instruction and energize
our young learners to be critical thinkers and active participants in
their education. As a team of
dedicated educators we are enthusiastic about expanding our
competencies. We have formulated a Continuous School Improvement Plan
that is a collaborative effort between staff and parents
Houdini is dedicated to students and families so that our children may
walk into their future equipped with the skills and knowledge they need
to be successful.
