I am excited to begin another year as principal and instructional leader at
McKinley Elementary School. I have lived in the Fox Cities area my entire
life. My husband Don and I have two children that attend school in the
Appleton Area School District. Dennis is 14 and Grace is 13. I have
been in education for 19 years. I started my teaching career as a kindergarten
teacher and was then a special education teacher teaching Learning Disabilities
at Huntley Elementary. I then transitioned to Roosevelt Middle School to become
the Associate Principal from 2004-2006. Next I moved to Lincoln
Elementary as the principal from 2006-2009. I am thrilled to
be part of the McKinley community of learners and I hope that all students,
parents, and staff have a great 2010-2011 school year.
This year we are excited to kick off our MJ Way Program as part of our Positive
Behavior Interventions and Support. McKinley Elementary is extremely proud
of their accomplishments and will continue to make educating your children our
top priority.
