Upcoming American Education Week Activities at AASD Schools
Posted on 11/17/2015
During the National Education Association’s (NEA’s) 94th Annual American Education Week, November 16-20, the Appleton Area School District will be joining millions of educators, parents, students, and community leaders  nationwide in raising awareness about the critical need to provide every child with a quality public education.

We’re taking this week as opportunity to say thanks for your past, current, and continuous support.

Check out all of these planned events and activities that our AASD schools are holding.

Please contact the school if you are interested in participating.

Can’t participate in any of events at our schools? Another event happening across the Fox Valley is on the morning of Wednesday, November 18. Our schools will Applaud Our Great Public Schools with 30 seconds of simultaneous applause happening at 9:00 a.m. Twelve Fox Valley Area School Districts are united in promoting the importance of public education. We will be applauding our community for providing our students with great public schools!

Consider having your office or company participate in our collective Applause event on Wednesday morning or by sharing it on your social media and/or website. This applause heard ‘round the valley will help to reinforce American Education Week’s theme, Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility.
