Appleton Area School District Receives Yearly Library Aid

The Board of Commissioners of Public Lands (BCPL) announced on Monday, April 11th, Wisconsin K-12 public school libraries will receive $37.7 million in statewide funding. This funding is provided by the Common School Fund which is the only yearly library aid that supports all Wisconsin public school districts.

Appleton received $703,106 to be divided among our fifteen elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools and twenty-two charter schools. Common School Fund distributions for the 2015-16 school year will be $31.78 (rounded) per census student.
