Berry's "Knotting for Neighbors"Club Delivers Blankets to Assisted Living Residents
Posted on 12/21/2016
Knotting for Neighbors was a new club started at Janet Berry this school year that was open to students in grades 3rd-6th.

The group met once a week and tied fleece blankets. Today, they took a field trip with advisors, Mrs. Corbett and Mrs. Strohfeldt to Oak Park Place, an assisted living and memory care facility, to deliver the blankets to the residents.

They also played some bingo together and visited with one another. The residents were so excited to see the students and thankful for their time making the blankets and visiting.

Thank you to Mr. Waters and Mrs. VandeVoort for your contributions and support as well.
