*Science/New Plants Bubolz Nature Preserve Foss Connection: Investigations focus on plans found locally and become aware of the diversity of life in the plant kingdom, observe the structures of flowering plants, examine seeds.
Science/Trees Bubolz Nature Preserve Students observe, compare and describe the characteristics in trees throughout the seasons. Students will be "Foresters" and figure out the age of the trees.
Science/Environment Heckrodt Wetland Reserve Swamp Stomp: Experience the wetland in a unique way. This sensory walk allows children to squish, crunch, hop and find out why wetlands are important. AASD Science Standards.
Science/Music Appleton Public Library Seasonal Fling: A puppet show based on the season of the year and musical movement activities. Admission is free.
