This timeline is provided as a courtesy to AASD students, families, and the community to aid in the process of understanding how the Appleton eSchool works. The Appleton eSchool is not conducted on the traditional semester academic model calendar. The eSchool timeline allows flexibility for students to take and complete our eSchool classes throughout the school calendar year as well as during the FVSC eSchool Summer Session. Summer session information, when available, is indicated in green font.

NOTE: Items have labels as "Full-Time" (FT) and "Part-Time" (PT). FT = Only students that are enrolled with the Appleton eSchool full-time. PT = All other students participating with the Appleton eSchool

eSchool course request registrations are ongoing through February 18 for the 11-12 school year
Aug. 8 - VHS Orientation begins
Aug. 20 - Student and Parent training event - 1pm - 4pm in eSchool office at East High School
Sept. 4 - Full-Time (FT) eSchool student kickoff
Sept. 4 - eSchool Online orientation course for part-time students begins
Sept. 5 - VHS fall semester begins
Sept. 7 - FT eSchool student orientation deadline
Sept. 10 - Student and Parent training event - 6:15pm - 8:30pm. Visit the eSchool table at East High School for assistance
Sept. 18 -eSchool Parent Advisory Council Meeting 4pm East High School LMC
Nov. 8 - Student and Parent training event - 12:30pm - 3:30pm & 5:30pm - 7:45pm. eSchool office at East High School
Dec. 18 - VHS Fall Semester Ends
Jan. 9 - VHS full-year courses resume
Jan. 11 - AASD FT student lack of progress removal date
Jan. 14 - eSchool final exam session - 4:00 - 5:30 at East High School
Jan. 15 - eSchool final exam sessions - 4:30 - 7:30 at East High School
Jan. 30 - VHS spring semester begins
Feb. 21 - Last Day to turn in a course request to start March 4
Feb. 28 - Deadline for online orientation to be complete to start March 4
Mar. 4 - Last day to start a an eSchool course for the 2012-2013 school year (next available start is the summer session)
March 13 - Summer Session Registration Begins
Mar. 20 - Last day to begin the second semester (continuation) of a course previously enrolled during the current school year.
March 26 - Student and Parent training event - 12:30pm - 3:30pm & 5:30pm - 7:45pm. eSchool office at East High School
April 23 - FVSC online orientation course access begins
May 14- VHS spring semester ends
May 15 - Recommended End Date for AASD eSchool students
May 20, 21, 22 - eSchool Final Exam Sessions (students may take finals before this date...arrangements are made directly with their teacher).
June 5 - Last day to request a summer session course (Don't wait, courses will fill up!)
June 7 by 10AM - Last day to complete the FVSC online orientation course
June 10 - First day of class for all courses
June 24 - Drop date without penalty
July 15- 19- Early final exam session schedule will be announced at a later date
July 22- Summer Session Concludes
