Play with Purpose

Join us on Tuesdays in September from 9:00-10:00 a.m. OR 10:30-11:30 a.m. This playgroup is designed for caregivers and children ages 0-5. As your child's first teacher you play a key role in their early development.

Join us to learn about a child’s development and fun ways you can engage them in learning and exploring their world through songs, fingerplays, activities and play.

**As per AASD guidelines, participants 3 years and older will need to wear masks and social distance while in the playgroup.

*Note: If you are unable to attend the playgroup that you registered for, please notify
us and your spot will be offered to another family on our waitlist.

“Learning Through Play”

Families with children birth to age 5 come join the Birth-Five Outreach team in September for playgroups at Pierce park (1035 W. Prospect Ave.) from 9:30-10:30 AM. Registration is required. You may register for one or all dates that you would like to attend by calling (920) 832-6470.

September 23 - Trucks, Trains and Transportation
October 7 – Reach for the Stars         
October 14 – Going on a Leaf Hunt           
October 21  – Pumpkin Patch

** NOTE: We will be following AASD guidelines: Wearing masks is recommended but not required.

All participants must social distance while in the playgroup marked areas. Parents are required to stay with their children and encouraged to play along with them in the designated areas.

**We will provide individually wrapped activity bags while supplies last. Playgroups are FREE!

The Fox Valley is a resource-rich area for families with young children. Visit the Birth-Five Activities & Events page to view the Family Activities calendar of events offered by Parent Connection, the Appleton Public Library and the Appleton Area School District.
In-person parent/child playgroups are held at the Community Early Learning Center, located at 313 S. State St., Appleton.

Parents/guardians can meet other families with young children and engage in fun learning activities.
