Vaccination Letter from the Appleton Health Department
Immunization is the best way to protect your children from 16
potentially harmful, sometimes deadly, diseases. Children in Wisconsin are required to be vaccinated
against diseases like measles and whooping cough before they can enter school.

Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Examination (WKCE) Letter
In the Appleton Area School District, and across the state of Wisconsin, we are working to ensure that our students are ready for further education and careers. Our state assessment has been changing to reflect this priority. In the next couple of months, Wisconsin public schools will receive the results of the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Examinations (WKCE) that students in Grades 3 through 8 and 10 took this fall.
