Pertussis (Whooping Cough) Exposure Notice
Your child may have been exposed to a lab confirmed case of pertussis at Lincoln Elementary School between Jan. 3rd and Jan. 12, 2012. If your child is infected, it is expected that he or she could become ill no later than Feb. 2, 2012. Please read the notice letter below. If your child develops any symptoms suggestive of pertussis, please immediately contact your physician for evaluation and bring this letter with you to the appointment. Any questions you may have about this notice can be directed to the Appleton Health Department at 832-6429.

Staff Appreciation Card Art Contest
The Appleton Education Foundation is holding an art contest to select a picture for a Staff Appreciation Card.
Please encourage your children to submit artwork to be considered for the card design. All entries must be delivered to the AEF box in the school office by noon on February 27, 2012. A $50 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble will be awarded to the student whose artwork is chosen for the card.
