Welcome to the James Madison Middle School website. Madison celebrates 50 years of educational excellence on the  south side of Appleton. Our school was established in 1958 as James Madison Junior High School serving students in grades 7 through 9. We were renamed James Madison Middle School in 1993 and now are serving students in the 7th  and 8th grades.

James Madison Middle School serves a diverse school community. The school offers a high quality curriculum and we encourage students to participate in the array of extracurricular opportunities. Students and staff are active in the community, joining with other groups and organizations to assist students in their transition from childhood to adulthood.
