2010-2011 School Year Registration Newsletter

All students enrolled at Appleton North for 2010-11 school year will be receiving their 2010-2011 Registration Newsletter in the US Mail by Saturday, July 24th.

If you have moved into the North attendance area recently, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE stop in the Guidance Office between the hours of 9:00-2:00 to enroll your student.

Moving into the North Attendance Area?

New students must be enrolled at North High School before completing the registration process in August.

Please contact our registrar, Faith Bentley, at 832-4309 as soon as you can to set up an appointment to complete the enrollment process. 

Registration Information for Fall

During registration, the following tasks will be completed:

  • Clear all previous obligations and fines

  • Pay current school year fees

  • Turn in required forms

  • Receive locker/lock assignment

  • Receive class schedule / supply list

  • Receive Student Handbook

  • Prepay lunch/breakfast account (optional)

  • Receive information on bus transportation

  • Take ID photos (for all grades)

  • Obtain student parking permit

We have designated dates for each grade to complete registration with your choice of a morning or an afternoon session.
[exception: Seniors have choice of 2 days]. 

Plan for at least one hour to  complete the registration process.

 If a student is unable to register on the day set aside for his/her grade level, the student may register during any of the other sessions.  

SENIORS/JUNIORS:      Tuesday, August 10 -  9:00-11:30 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m.

SENIORS/SOPHOMORES:  Thursday, August  12 - 9:00 –11:30 a.m. and 1:00 –3:00 p.m.

FRESHMEN:      Tuesday, August 17 -  9:00–11:30 a.m. and 1:00–3:00 p.m.  and evening session - 5:00- 7:00 p.m.

Family Trips

Students who will miss school due to a family vacation, etc
-Students must pick up a pre-arranged Absence Form in the Student Services office.
-Have their parents sign it.
-Have all their teachers sign it.
-Return the form to Student Services before the absence.
This process is very helpful for teachers and attendance secretaries and assures that complete communication of expectations between student and teachers has occurred.
