4-Year-Old Kindergarten (4K)
Since the young child’s “work” is play, high quality environments that are nurturing and developmentally appropriate are key for successful implementation of this curriculum. With a focus on age-appropriate concepts and academic growth in play-based learning settings, learning experiences are driven by each individual child’s interests and encourage creativity, curiosity, problem solving, and exploration.
