High School

A large group of people, mostly young adults, standing together in what appears to be a school or university setting, with various backgrounds and clothing styles visible.

Appleton high schools offer English Learner (EL) courses designed to help students build confidence and proficiency in English while supporting their success in all academic areas.

These courses provide targeted instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and listening at a range of levels—from intermediate to advanced—so students can continue developing their language skills as they grow. Students may also have the opportunity to strengthen literacy in their home language through courses such as Hmong Literacy.
