Financial literacy ensures students are prepared not only for graduation, but for confident, responsible financial futures.
Whether budgeting for daily needs or planning long-term goals, AASD students gain the knowledge and skills to take charge of their financial lives with purpose and independence.
For more than 20 years—long before Wisconsin’s new statewide requirement—the Appleton Area School District has prioritized financial literacy. Since 2004, AASD has equipped students with essential skills to manage money, navigate credit, and make informed financial decisions.
With Wisconsin now requiring a half-credit financial literacy course beginning with the Class of 2028, AASD continues to lead the way through a strong lineup of coursework.
