The AASD is committed to administering a variety of different assessments to students that will accurately measure student learning, so that high quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences will be created for each student.

Why are we required to conduct state testing?

Wisconsin’s accountability reforms are focused upon helping every child graduate ready for college and careers. The various assessments are to measure each child’s progress toward this goal.
