recently announced 263 schools and school districts will receive $21,281,933 from the second round of the DOJ School Safety Grant program, which focuses on advanced initiatives to bolster student mental health.
The Appleton Area School District was awarded $931,180, from the second round of grant funding.
We will utilize these grant funds to address security needs at our schools, our ability to respond in a crisis situation, and training in the DOJ-approved Adolescent Mental Health program.
