The AASD hosted a community breakfast Thursday morning at James Madison Middle School to thank our business partners for the impact they have on preparing our students for their future and making an investment in our community.
Business and community partnerships provide AASD students with an opportunity to interact and learn from area employers and community residents who share their motivation, knowledge, and skills.
At our event, we heard first hand from teachers and students about how they experience a dynamic Academic and Career Planning process. Our students shared their learning experiences both in and out of school that support employability skills, career awareness, exploration, planning and training.
If you’d like to get involved or have any questions on the districts mission to build a culture of Career Based Learning while supporting the Academic and Career Planning process, please contact
Rita O’Brien, the Dean of Career Based Learning or
Mary Greiner, Director of Volunteers.
