Last week, the Appleton Area School District Board of Education proudly adopted a resolution proclaiming May 4–8, 2026, as AASD Staff Appreciation Week—a dedicated time to recognize the exceptional commitment our staff have shown to students, schools, and the broader community throughout the 2025–2026 school year.

This past year has truly reflected the unwavering dedication, compassion, and professionalism of our team. Across every role—whether in classrooms, cafeterias, offices, buses, or beyond—our staff have gone above and beyond to support, uplift, and empower every student, every day. The Board’s resolution stands as a heartfelt acknowledgment of the vital contributions made by each member of our AASD community, whose work not only shapes student success but also strengthens the foundation of our entire district.

RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF THE OUTSTANDING DEDICATION OF OUR STAFF DURING THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR 

WHEREAS the Appleton Area School District is honored to have devoted staff who steadfastly believe in the potential of each and every student, empowering them through a strong sense of belonging, encouraging them through belief, and preparing them for success;

WHEREAS our staff serve as mentors, inspirers, and pillars of support for our students and exhibit exceptional dedication in meeting the needs of students and families;

WHEREAS the excellence of AASD’s educational programs is a testament to the hard work, talent, and innovation of all of our staff, who employ their expertise and empathy to craft tailored learning experiences for ALL students;

WHEREAS it is imperative to express profound gratitude, respect, and recognition for the diverse roles within our school community, including Educators, Administrators, Student Services personnel, Special Education staff, School Nurses, Paraprofessionals, Administrative Assistants, Administrative Support Unit staff, Student Success staff, Facilities and Technology Services teams, Substitute staff, Coaches, Advisors, Hourly staff, Transportation staff, and Food Service teams;

WHEREAS the Appleton Area School District Board of Education wishes to extend its deepest appreciation for the remarkable contributions of these staff members to the education and overall well-being of our students throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education proclaims May 4th through the 8th, 2026, as AASD STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK, honoring the exceptional dedication of our staff to their students, schools, and community this academic year;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board encourages all members of our community to join us in showing appreciation to our staff for their unwavering commitment to empowering students through belonging, encouraging them through belief, and ensuring they are ready for success—Every Student, Every Day.
