Exciting progress was made on September 18, 2024, at the Sandy Slope Elementary School construction site during the Topping Off Ceremony! 🥳🎉

This key milestone marks the completion of the building’s framework as the final steel beam is placed. In keeping with tradition, the last beam is painted and adorned with a small evergreen tree and the American flag.

The ceremony brought together the Sandy Slope Principal and members of the District's planning team, Boldt, and Hoffman Planning, Design, & Construction who signed the beam, offered congratulations, and watched as it was lifted and secured in place.

This event celebrates the hard work of the construction crew and the progress made thus far.
