Determination of Election Results
The Board of Canvassers has determined and certified that the following persons received the greatest number of votes for the respective office for which each was a candidate on April 5, 2022. Per Wisconsin State Statute, the two candidates who received the highest number of votes are elected to the regular three-year terms. The candidates receiving the third and fourth highest votes are elected to the partial one-year terms. Upon taking and filing the Oath of Office, new Board Member terms shall begin on Monday, April 25, 2022.

Primary Election
A school board shall require a primary election if there are more than twice as many candidates as there are members to be elected. The Appleton Area School District will require a primary election, to be held in conjunction with the spring primary, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, to narrow the field of candidates to eight (8) for the April 5, 2022 spring election.
A drawing of lots to determine ballot order for the spring primary was held on Monday, January 10, 2022, during the regular Board of Education Meeting.

BOARD OF EDUCATION CANDIDATE INFORMATION & FORMS
All ballot access forms are due by 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2022. You may utilize the ballot access documents below to qualify for the April 2022 election. Candidate packets are also available at the Scullen Leadership Center, 131 E. Washington Street, Suite 1A, Appleton.
