Apply for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals

Families only need to submit one Free and Reduced-Price School Meals application per household, even if children attend different schools within the Appleton Area School District.

Online applications for the 2026-27 school year will be available beginning July 7 through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Families may apply or reapply at any time during the school year. If your household income changes due to circumstances such as unemployment or financial hardship, your children may become eligible for free or reduced-price meals.

You may also complete a paper Meal Benefits Application and submit it using any of the following methods:

  • Return the completed application to your student's school office.
  • Email a PDF of the completed application to foodservice@aasd.k12.wi.us.
  • Drop off the application in person at the Appleton Area School District Food Service Office.

2026-27 Free and Reduced Meal Application Materials

Important: Complete the Sharing Information with Other Programs Form

In addition to the Free and Reduced Meal Application, families are encouraged to complete the Sharing Information with Other Programs form.

This form allows the District's Food Service Department to share eligibility information with your child's school. Completing this form may help your family qualify for waivers or reductions of:

  • Elective course material fees
  • Co-curricular and participation fees
  • Instrument rental fees
