Summer Food Service Program

Summer Food Program HeaderAll students 18 years and under are able to receive FREE meals during AASD summer school and the Summer B.O.O.S.T. program.

There is no need to sign up or register for this, just stop at any participating schools during breakfast and lunch times. 

All children and their families/caregivers are welcome. Children do not need to be a current AASD student to get a FREE meal! 

Breakfast and lunch will be served Monday through Friday from June 10-July 3 (no meals on 6/19) and from July 8-19. The meals must be eaten at the school and cannot be taken "to-go". 

Locations & Times of Meals During Summer School: Monday - Friday from June 10 - July 3 

Breakfast

  • Badger, Columbus, Dunlap, Edison, Foster, Franklin, Highlands, Horizons, Jefferson, Johnston, McKinley and Richmond from 8:00-8:30 a.m.
  • Kaleidoscope Academy from 8:15-8:45 a.m.
  • East High School from 7:15-7:45 a.m. only until June 28
  • West High School from 7:15-8:45 a.m.

Lunch

  • Badger, Columbus, Dunlap, Edison, Foster, Franklin, Highlands, Horizons, Jefferson, Johnston, McKinley and Richmond from 11:30-12:15 p.m.
  • Kaleidoscope Academy from 11:45-12:30 p.m.
  • East High School from 11:15-11:45 a.m. only until June 28
  • West High School from 11:15-12:15 p.m.

Please note our serving times are strict to adhere to USDA guidelines. 

During Summer B.O.O.S.T Program: Monday - Friday from July 8 -19

Badger, Edison, Foster, and Highlands will be serving free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 and under, including B.O.O.S.T participants.

  • Badger, Edison, Foster, and Highlands: Breakfast will be available from 8:00-8:45 a.m. and lunch from 11:30-12:15 p.m.

Can adults buy meals?
Meals are available for purchase by adults (those who are 19 and older) for the following prices, cash only. Breakfast is $3.00; lunch is $5.00; and extra milk is $0.40. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join their students for meals,and are not required to purchase a meal.
