Elementary and Middle School Teachers Who Taught Last Summer and Would Like to Teach the Upcoming Summer:

At the end of summer school, you were asked to complete a form indicating if you wished to teach summer school this summer, if you completed this form and indicated that you wish to return, you do not need to do anything. The Summer School Coordination Specialist will be contacting you via phone or email by early March.

Certification

To teach in the Consortium Summer School you must be a regular education certified teacher in the State of Wisconsin

  • Must be certified in either the grade level or the subject that you wish to teach. You do not need to be certified in both to teach summer school. For example, you do not need to be certified in the area you wish to teach (a math teacher could teach woods, science, etc.), however, if you are not certified in the subject area then you must be certified at the grade level in which you wish to teach
  • If you have special education certification in the State of Wisconsin, you can teach in the Consortium Summer School
  • Must be certified in the grade level that you wish to teach (If you are currently an AASD teacher or sub, this is all the information that is needed)
