AT-RISK PLAN
It is the policy of the Appleton Area School District to encourage, promote, and assist at-risk students to obtain high school diplomas.
Any and all waivers, agreements, or contracts that request termination of a student’s requirement to attend school or complete their education, whether from Learnfare requirements or other agencies, regulatory or legal representatives, must be accompanied by a written statement from the requesting party as to what steps (plan) will be taken to assist the student to obtain a high school diploma or GED, and the requesting party must agree to report progress on the plan within one year of the date of termination, to the Appleton Area School District Board of Education or its designee.
