TUTORING

School credit for summer school attendance or private tutoring on the part of public school pupils shall be granted by Appleton Area School District authorities only if said tutoring or summer school attendance meets with the approval of the appropriate school principal and the Assistant Superintendent.

The Board of Education and the school administrators have not officially authorized any person or persons to act as tutors of public school pupils. When there is any doubt in the mind of the school administrator concerning the nature and quality of such courses tutored, he or she shall require the pupil concerned to satisfactorily pass an examination in the subject(s) in which school credit is expected.
