Technology Integration Specialists, or Tech Integrators (TIs) for short, provide coaching, training, and curriculum integration strategies with the goal of having teachers and other instructional staff integrate technology competently and consistently district-wide.
These positions are highly collaborative with instructional staff and include planning effective instruction, co-teaching, and modeling strategies with regard to the use of technology in the teaching and learning process.

Our goal is that all teachers integrate learning-focused, value-added technology into their classroom in a consistent district-wide manner.
What do we do
- Help teachers identify and utilize current technologies available in the district that will help their students learn best
- Provide co-teaching that models best practices and gives teachers the experience to continue teaching on their own with a new technology
- Research and develop new lesson ideas that utilize new and emerging tools
- Participate in the planning and implementation of district-wide staff development opportunities and collaborative sharing sessions
- Coordinate with building principals and technology committees to advise technology decisions that meet educational goals and work best within our systems
- Communicate district-wide technology initiatives and changes that have a curricular focus
- Act as a liaison to the district’s Tech Services department
- Explore and pilot new technologies before they are implemented district-wide
- Guide teachers through any legal and ethical issues regarding online educational tools and services
