Safe Routes to School

The City of Appleton Department of Public Works creates and maintains maps that help parents, guardians and kids find the best route to safely walk and bike to their school.

The maps display streets with and without sidewalks, intersection stops and yields, traffic signals, marked crosswalks, signed school zones, crossing guard posts and neighborhood destinations.
