Free Dental Care

Free dental care is available for students in the Appleton Area School District from kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Elementary students who qualify for free or reduced-cost hot lunch or have a Medicaid Forward card and lack dental insurance are eligible for services. These include screenings, cleanings, exams, x-rays, and treatments at the Appleton clinic or on a mobile clinic. Services are provided in phases, starting with screenings at school and progressing to treatments at the clinic or on a dental bus.

Middle and high school students receive dental services through a partnership with the Partnership Community Health Center. Parents can contact their child's school office or the Tri-County Dental Clinic for more information.
