In the Appleton Area School District, we aim to be a destination district for families seeking extensive and diverse school options, such as our 18 Appleton Community 4K sites located throughout our community, our welcoming and inclusive neighborhood schools, and our 15 free, public charter schools each with a different emphasis such as the arts, manufacturing, the environment, STEM education, and college and career preparedness.

We understand that choosing your child’s school is a significant decision. We're confident that your child will grow and learn in our District’s inclusive, high-achieving environment to find their personalized version of Success for Every Student, Every Day! Whether you are relocating to the Fox Cities or thinking about open enrolling into our district, we encourage you to learn more about our District and how to join us in the AASD.

When new families move into the Appleton Area School District, we ask that you enroll your students as soon as possible. Enrollment can be completed two ways, online or in-person at our Welcome Center, located 2701 North Oneida Street, Suite C3, Appleton, WI. The Welcome Center offers interpreter services and is available to assist with any questions you may have about enrolling in the Appleton Area School District. We strongly recommend scheduling an appointment, which can be arranged by calling (920) 852-5308. Please inform us when scheduling if you need an interpreter.We encourage you to consult the School Boundary Map to determine which neighborhood school your student will attend. If you'd like to confirm which school your student(s) will attend, please call (920) 852-5308.

Enrollment

Prompt enrollment allows us to properly schedule buses, assign teachers, and provide any other services that might be necessary.  Early enrollment allows us to provide the individual and personal attention your children deserve.

The parent or guardian should be prepared to complete enrollment information that includes home language, student immunization record, health, and emergency contacts when enrolling your student.

When enrolling your student, you will be asked to verify your address by providing a utility bill, phone bill, or bank statement showing your current address.
