RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF THE OUTSTANDING DEDICATION OF OUR STAFF DURING THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR

WHEREAS the Appleton Area School District (AASD) is privileged to have a team of dedicated staff committed to the District’s mission; and

WHEREAS our staff members teach, mentor, inspire, and provide support and guidance for our students; and

WHEREAS the AASD’s exceptional educational programs are a result of the hard work, talent, and innovation of our staff, who use their extensive skills and compassion to provide personalized learning opportunities and support for ALL students; and

WHEREAS we recognize that our staff has gone above and beyond in responding to the needs of our students and their families; and

WHEREAS we believe that it is crucial to express our gratitude, respect, and recognition for our educators, administrators, student services staff, therapists, school nurses, student support staff, secretaries, paraprofessionals, administrative professionals, facilities staff, technology services staff, substitute staff, coaches and advisors, hourly staff, and transportation and food service staff;

WHEREAS the members of the Appleton Area School District Board of Education wish to extend their utmost appreciation for the extraordinary work that these staff members have done to support the education and overall well-being of our students during the 2022-2023 school year. 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Appleton Area School District Board of Education hereby declares May 22nd through the 26th, as AASD STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK, in celebration of our staff’s outstanding dedication to their work this school year; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board strongly encourages all members of the community to join them in expressing appreciation to our staff for their unwavering commitment to promoting the success of our children and our community.
