Community Schools
Engage students. Empower families. Enhance neighborhoods.
The Appleton Area School District is enhancing its efforts to strengthen connections between schools and the community. Each Community School features a central hub, the Community Resource Center (CRC), staffed by a dedicated Community Schools Resource Coordinator (CSRC).
The CRC serves as a vital resource for students, staff, families, and the surrounding neighborhood, offering access to services and support. The CSRC plays a key role in collaborating with community agencies and organizations to address the unique needs of the district's diverse populations, fostering stronger partnerships and a thriving community.
Vision
Through intentional connections, resources, and services, we will enhance student learning, strengthen families and support healthy neighborhoods by reducing systemic barriers.
