New Educator Mentoring We believe in empowering our educators from day one. Our structured, collaborative, and non-evaluative mentoring system supports new teachers, fostering their professional growth and aligning with AASD’s vision for continuous development. This ensures our students receive the best education possible. 

New Staff Induction Our comprehensive two-year induction program is designed to welcome and support new staff. It includes:

  • Ongoing Orientation: Regular training sessions to help new staff integrate seamlessly into our district.
  • Support Seminars: Professional development seminars aligned with Wisconsin educator standards.

Staff Development AASD is committed to the continuous growth of our teachers through a variety of development programs, including:

  • Year-Round Training: Diverse training sessions available throughout the year.
  • Cultural and Linguistic Response Training: Enhancing educators' abilities to meet the needs of all students.
  • Master’s Degree Program: In partnership with UW-Oshkosh, we offer a Master's in Teaching and Learning at a fraction of the traditional cost. This program is tailored to develop instructional expertise within an AASD Cohort.
