Birth-Five Outreach

Birth-Five

Appleton Area School District’s Birth-Five Outreach offers an inclusive network of family care services, school information, and community support. Birth–Five Outreach builds positive relationships with families by offering connections to many school and community resources early on.

Did you know?
85% of the foundation for a child’s intellect, personality and skills is formed by age 5.

The purpose of Birth-Five Outreach is to identify and connect with parents of children ages 0-5 who reside within the Appleton Area School District.

How is Birth-Five different than Birth to 3?

Birth–Five focuses on outreach to all families with children five and under who are not currently enrolled in kindergarten, and who reside within the Appleton Area School District.

The Birth to 3 Programs focus on identifying and supporting children ages 0-3 who have delays in their development. Children receiving support and services through Birth to 3 have met the eligibility of a 25% delay in development or atypical development, or have a diagnosis likely to lead to a developmental delay.
