Fox Valley Tough Kid Challenge

The Fox Valley Tough Kid Challenge is an obstacle course event and fundraiser for Appleton Area School District's physical education departments. This event is open to all kids ages 5 through 13.

Participants will travel through the course in spaced intervals to allow for flexibility in family schedules and maximum participation throughout the entire event. Participants will receive an event t-shirt and a medal.

The 2023 event will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023. The TKC course will open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 1:00 p.m. Participants may complete the course whenever it is convenient for them.

Cost

Cost: $15 per participant. After September 24th, the cost will increase to $20 per participant. Family members can go with their child for free by signing a waiver the day of the event, but will not receive a t-shirt or medal.

Location
The event will be held at Highlands Elementary School, 2037 N. Elinor St. Appleton, WI 54914.

Course
The course is typically 1.55 miles long and features 30 obstacles that challenge the agility and strength of our participants.

A portion of the funds raised will benefit every elementary student who attends the Appleton Area School District. Each school will be eligible for a grant to enhance its physical education programs.

Our goal is to spotlight being physically active as well as raise money to advance healthy initiatives.
